Referral মানে client-কে pressure দেয়া না। Referral মানে ভালো কাজের পর relationship politely open রাখা।

Referral চাইবেন কখন

Client happy না হলে referral চাইবেন না। Delivery complete, client satisfied, support clear, then ask softly।

• Client positive feedback দিয়েছে।
• Revision complete হয়েছে।
• Client result পেয়েছে।
• Relationship comfortable।

Referral script

Message gratitude দিয়ে শুরু হবে, pressure দিয়ে না।

I really enjoyed working on this project. If you know someone who needs similar help with [service/result], I would be happy if you keep me in mind. No pressure at all.

What not to say

Referral চাইতে গিয়ে desperate tone avoid করুন।

Bad: Please refer me to anyone. I need more clients.

Better: If someone in your network ever needs similar help, feel free to share my name.

Referral আসে trust থেকে। Trust ছাড়া referral চাওয়া মানে relationship-এর আগে sales করা।

Action Task

আপনার service অনুযায়ী ২টা referral message লিখুন: one direct client, one marketplace repeat client.

Referral timing map

Referral ask করার আগে timing বুঝতে হবে। Delivery-এর সাথে সাথে referral চাইলে awkward লাগতে পারে। Client যখন বলে “Great work” বা repeat discussion করে, তখন soft referral natural লাগে।

• Bad timing: revision pending, client unsure, payment not complete।
• Good timing: client satisfied, final delivery accepted, relationship warm।
• Best wording: gratitude + optional ask + no pressure।

Referral message short রাখুন। Long emotional message দিলে client uncomfortable হতে পারে।

Referral follow-up

Referral message পাঠানোর পর আবার চাপ দেবেন না। Client reply না দিলে বিষয়টা ছেড়ে দিন। যদি client positive reply দেয়, তখন short thank you বলবেন।

Referral পাওয়ার পরও professional থাকবেন। New lead আসলে old client-এর নাম অতিরিক্ত use করবেন না, privacy respect করবেন।
